AVAILABLE SERVICES

GoDaddy Website Tonight Implementation

 

I'll build it, and you can update it. Web-based, template-driven development and hosting packages such as GoDaddy are an excellent option for creating a quality website in a relatively short time for very little money. They are very reliable and offer lots of great features, either a la carte or as a package.

 

These packages provide you with two important advantages: (1) You can review the progress of your website project online, while it is being developed, and (2) you can have complete control over maintaining your site after it is launched. I will provide 30 minutes of training to ensure you are comfortable working with your site.

 

(Please note: I do not receive any money or rewards from any hosting company or domain registry for referring you to them. I just really like GoDaddy because it offers so much functionality. Visit their website at www.GoDaddy.com.)

 

E-commerce

 

E-commerce is limited to PayPal integration ("Buy Now" and "View Cart" buttons) or implementation of a template-based shopping cart, such as GoDaddy Quick Shopping Cart.

 

Note that you are solely responsible for complying with any and all e-commerce requirements and regulations and paying any associated fees. You will be responsible for monitoring and managing your account, as well as handling problems or customer complaints.

WEB DESIGN FEES

Website Development

 

Fees are based on the scope and complexity of work and on factors such as number of pages required, amount of writing and editing that needs to be done, number of photos and images to be incorporated, and desired functions (for example, e-commerce).

 

After we finalize the requirements for your site, I will prepare an estimate and website design agreement for your approval. Payment of 50 percent of the fee must be made before work can begin. The remaining 50 percent will be due within 7 days of the website launch date.

 

Maintenance

 

The website development fee includes 30 days of maintenance following the date the site is launched. Maintenance includes work such as making minor wording changes, switching photos, and adjusting layout issues. Maintenance does not include adding or replacing pages, redesigning layouts, or changing the site navigation structure.

 

Depending on the website's needs, webmastering includes services such as posting new text, PDFs, forms, photos, and videos; updating calendars; and maintaining e-commerce product catalogs. The fee for maintenance starts at $35.00 per hour. This will be billed quarterly and payable within 14 days of receipt. You can cancel maintenance at any time.

 

Organic Search Engine Optimization (SEO)

 

Your site will be designed using on-page best practices to achieve organic SEO. This includes development of keyword-rich content, proper use of meta tags, and registration of the site with major search engines. There is no additional fee for on-page organic SEO services.

 

I do not provide off-page SEO — paid keyword advertising, directory listings, and inbound link building. However, I would be happy to recommend a company that can provide these services.

 

Please note that organic and paid SEO do not immediately result in high website ranking in the search engines. I make no guarantees with regard to search engine placement of your site. I encourage you to make efforts to drive traffic to your website by, for example, incorporating your URL in all of your printed materials and advertising.

 

Copyrights and Permissions

 

The finished website will fully and completely belong to you. I reserve the right to include my website address and contact information on the site, and to list your website as a reference in my portfolio.

 

You are 100% responsible for ensuring that rights to all materials used on the site are owned by you or that permission has been obtained. If additional artwork or photos are required, we will purchase royalty-free stock images.
